The metaphor of an orchestra is one that is often used to describe an effective team. A drum circle is an orchestra, and in an orchestra the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. To recognise this is to recognise the importance of teamwork, and teamwork is what the drum circle is all about. Creating music together in this way will also give your staff the opportunity to experience themselves, and get to know each other, in a very different way.

A lot of the time our relationships get stuck because we get too used to relating to each other in habitual ways. The drum circle allows us the opportunity to experience different sides to ourselves, see our colleagues in a new light and be part of an effective team.

The session will be very much hands-on allowing the drums to do the talking creating an environment of co-operation, inclusion and harmony.
